TEDxDrapanosWomen film maker Sam Evans has travelled to over 90 countries, on every continent, creating videos for some of the world's most luxurious accommodations (including Chiawa Camp, awarded “Best Safari Property In Africa”) as well as directing, shooting and producing for Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, National Geographic, the BBC and news outlets around the world. Sam holds a degree in Television Production from Bournemouth University, renowned in the film and TV industry as one of the most prestigious courses available.

Professional photographer, film production expert and pioneer in teaching the skills of successful Vlogging, Mi is the founder of The Vlog Academy. Mi has been supporting our speakers in helping them to understand the 'Science Behind Captivating an Audience'. In Crete on 1st December, the day after TEDxDrapanosWomen, Mi is offering a hands-on workshop about using video and smart phone vlogging to get the most professional impact.

Antonis is an experienced TEDx 'storyteller' and international 'Digital Influencer'. He is a Cretan born young entrepreneur  currently living in Prague.  Antonis will manage the social media coverage for TEDxDrapanosWoman and keep the world up-to-date about the amazing speakers and the other exciting activities at this historical event.

Cyprus-based designer Marios Karystios creates unique and beautiful shaped bottles and containers for organic olive oil. He also creates eye catching contemporary labling and branding to take products to new, wider markets.

In 2007, Alexandra Manousakis left the U.S. to  manage her family winery in Crete. Her admiration for Crete made her create a selection of local products under the brand name 'Terroir' to showcase Cretan nature for its unique and unforgettable terroir. Her combined love of Crete, design and supporting local communities and charities inspiried her to create this range. Each jar for olive oil and sea salt is handmade by a local ceramist, and a percentage of the profits is donated to ELEPAP, school for children with disabilities. Bottles and jars and can be reused afterwards.

Young, Cretan engineering entreprenuers Lia and Antonis will be on hand at TEDxDrapanosWomen to ensure the smooth runnng of the  power needs at ESA off-grid venue. 

Lakshmikant plays a crucial role in TEDxDrapanosWomen, making sure that all the IT equipment is in perfect order. He is also in charge of the live streaming from TEDWomen mainstage event in Palm Springs USA.
