The ESA - perfect venue for your retreat

Looking for something truly remarkable for your next board or executive retreat? Interested in mixing some luxurious relaxation with a dash of inspirational sustainable thinking?

The ESA building is available to hire for executive retreats or bespoke training events.

You get a fully fitted, operational lecture room along with exclusive use of the ESA grounds and olive groves for unique learning spaces and breakout areas. Your separate, private dining room and lecture room both comfortably accommodate 50 people. ESA is a biophilic building and is decorated inside with the natural flora of outside.

You will be supported by ESA's event support team with a choice of food and wine menus and extra evening activities including night sky watching and Cretan Natural Cuisine demonstrations. ESA is committed to net zero carbon by 2050 and creates a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) report on all activities. This means that ESA catering on site is Cretan style vegetarian (and very tasty), zero single-use- plastic is allowed on site, low to zero packaging used for all catering and all food and beverages sourced from the local area.

ESA supports the local community by partnering with accommodation providers from 5* luxury hotels to self-catering apartments and villas, and from in-house fine cuisine catering services to a range of restaurants, from traditional mountain village tavernas to beach and seaside restaurants to meet your requirements and budget.

Costs for hiring ESA start at 1000 Euros (plus taxes) per day for up to 20 people (50 euros pp.) This includes a basic hospitality package of breakfast/ snacks on arrival, morning coffee break and afternoon tea with local snacks, limitless water and soft drinks. A simple, Cretan style family lunch/ buffet, either at ESA or a short walk away at one of the 2 excellent village tavernas.
Costs on request for a larger number of guests or more elaborate packages including dinner, special evening activities and ESA’s signature fine dining, Sustainable Crete experiences such as a ‘Minoan Style Feast’ and specialist wines. Contact us for more information.
