Finding ESA

We are located outside the village of Drapanos in North West Crete: GPS (35.434522 N, 24.236820 E)

Directions from Chania

Take the National Road in an Easterly direction towards Rethymnon and Heraklion
Exit the National Road at Kalyves
Turn left at the T junction towards the centre of Kalyves
Turn right at the T junction (at the laundry) in the centre of Kalyves, towards Almeryda and Vamos
On the outskirts of Kalyves whilst ascending the hill, turn left towards Almeryda (do not go ahead to Vamos)
Upon entering Almeryda, at the Pear Tree store, turn right towards Plaka
Drive straight through the centre of Plaka
After the square, take the right turn (at the mini market) towards Kambia
Drive through Kambia towards Kokinio Xorio and Drapanos
On the outskirts of Kambia (at the glass factory) turn right
Drive up the hill to Drapanos
In the centre of Drapanos, after the taverna on your left, continue straight ahead/left with the mini market on your left-hand side. (do not turn right to Kefalas)
Continue out of the village
After 200 metres turn right at the ESA sign.
Follow the track until you come to the ESA building.

Directions from Heraklion and Rethymno

Take the National Road in a Westerly direction towards Chania
Exit the main road at Georgioupoli
After passing through the centre of Georgioupoli turn left and cross the bridge towards Kalamitsi Amygdalio and Vamos.
Climb the hill and turn right (hairpin) just before Kalamitsi Amygdalio towards Selia and Kefalas
At the T junction at the top of the hill, turn right towards Selia and Kefalas
Drive through Selia and Likotinara towards Kefalas
Drive straight through Kefalas towards Palailoni and Drapanos
Drive through Palailoni towards Drapanos
In the centre of Drapanos, after the taverna on your left, turn right with the mini market on your left-hand side.
Continue out of the village
After 200 metres turn right at the ESA sign.
Follow the track until you come to the ESA building.

Since 2012, ESA has delivered international, high calibre, leadership and management education, and consulting services, with a focus on the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are necessary to futureproof organisations and preserve the planet, through the practical application of sustainable business models.

The transition to a global green economy needs new; management skills, thinking, innovation and creativity which are rarely provided by mainstream business teaching. ESA founder Sharon Jackson has been consulting, teaching, lecturing and researching on sustainable leadership and management globally since 2000 and believes that busy executives can focus on the principles of business sustainability in a more meaningful and practical way when energised by a rich ecological backdrop.
